BurgerBar.co

BurgerBar.co is a newly established restaurant by Party Play which aims to create a hot concept rivaling any burger outlets in Malaysia. They feature more than 15 burgers in their menu, side dishes, beverages as well as beers.

Located in Lintas Plaza, BurgerBar.co is not difficult to find as it is situated just beside Patrick’s Signature (another restaurant by Party Play).

The design of the restaurant is displayed by a more new-aged or some people might prefer to describe it as more ‘casual’ furniture.

This restaurant practise self-service, which means that you have to order your food and drinks at the counter.

To make an order, firstly, you have to choose the type of bun. There are two choices, sesame bun and green tea bun. Personally, I prefer sesame bun over green tea bun. Most of the people taste no difference between the two types of bun but I don’t find the sense of green tea fitting in burger. You can complete your burger with fries and bottomless soft drinks if you add another RM 7.

The menu

A burger is judged by, not its look but, the buns, the meats, the veggie, the cheese as well as the sauce. The buns are heated over butter which gives the burger the crumbly at the first bite.  The 180g black pig burger patty is grilled to perfection, well-cooked but doesn’t lose its succulence. Brushed with the teriyaki glaze and topped with grilled bacons, I would give 9 out 10 by far but I changed my mind when it comes to the veggie and the cheese they used in this burger. The cheese used is the ordinary commercial cheddar cheese which does not enhance the taste of the burger. Same goes to the sliced tomatoes and lettuce; this points out the importance of the choice of ingredients, in both the main features as well as the sides.

However, the herbs fries do balance up the slight disappointments. It’s crispy and sufficiently herbed and spiced.

The settings of BurgerBar.co make it a great place to enjoy good burgers with your friends or even family. It definitely worth another visit, to try other burgers on the menu.
